Abdelbasset Abdessamad is a renowned Quran reciter born in 1927 in a village called Almara'za in Egypt. Abdelbasset Abdessamad learnt the Quran at an early age from Shaykh Mohamed al Amir and later from Mohamed Selim Hamada. 

In 1952, AbdelBaset Abdus Samad was appointed official reciter to al Imam Achafiî's masjid and then to al Hussain's masjid in 1985. Abdul Basit is known for his amazing tajweed and accuracy in recitation. Abdul Basit died on November the 30th, 1988.

 Salah Bukhatir is an imam and Quran reciter aswell as a succussful business man from the United Arab Emirates. His brother is the munshid Ahmed Bukhatir. Salah Bukhatir memorized the Holy Quran while he was still a child. His beautiful voice in psalmody earned much distinction and popularity among his surroundings.
Currently he leads the salah during ramadaan in masjid Abu Bakr, UAE.

Abdullah Fahad bin Awwad al Juhayni was born in Madeenah in 1396H. He completed his hifdh at a young age. He then studied and graduated from the Islamic University in the faculty of Quranic Studies. After graduating, he pyrsued and completed his master degree from Umm al Quraa, Makkah.

Having been imam and leading prayers in the Prophets Masjid in Madenah, he is currently the imam in Masjid al Haram, Makkah.

Ahmed Ali Al Ajmi is a Quran reciter from Khobar, an eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. He was born February 24, 1968.

After graduating from Mohamed bin Saud Islamic University, Ahmed Al Ajmi flew to Pakistan where he enrolled in Lahore Public University to prepare a Master and then a Doctorate in Quran Interpretation.

He first led prayers in 1984 (1404 Hijri) at 16 years old in al Mughira bin Shooba Masjid and then in the Great Masjid of Khobar in 1985. He was chosen as Imam in Mohamed bin Fahad Masjid in Khobar in 1992. Ahmed al Ajmi is currently leading prayers in one of Jeddah’s biggest masjid.

Shaykh Abdur Rahman Ali al Hudhayfi, born Ali ibn Abdurrahman ibn Ali ibn Ahmad al Hudhayfi in 1366 Hijri in Al Awamer, Saudi Arabia.

In 1381 Hijri, Ali al Hudhayfi entered the Islamic School of Baljarchi and then enrolled in the Scientific Institute of the same time in 1383. After graduating in 1388, Ali al Hudhayfi entered the Sharia’s Faculty of Riyadh. Shortly after graduating, he became a teach and among the subjects he taught Tafsir, Tawhid, Nahw, Sarf, Arabic. At the same time, he was leading prayers and giving lectures in the High Baljarchi Mosque.

Since 1397, Shaykh Ali al Hudhayfi has worked in the Islamic University where he gave lectures in Tawhid and Fiqh in the Sharia Faculty.

Abdur Rahman al Hudhayfi has been the imam of eminent Masjids in Saudi Arabia such as Qiba’ Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque in 1399. During Ramadan of 1401 he moved to the Holy Mosque of Jeddah and then went back to Madina, where he currenyl leads prayers in the Prophet’s Masjid.

Ali Abdur-Rahman al-Huthaify

 Maher bin Hamad al Muaqily was born 1388H in Madeenah, Saudi Arabia. He completed his hifdh at a young age and then earned a degree in Mathematics. In 1425H, he completed his master degree in Shariah from the Umm al Quraan University, Makkah.

After becoming imam in Masjid Nabi for a short period, in 1427, he lead the prayers during taraweeh in Masjid Haram, Makkah and is also now an imaam there.

Saad al Ghamidi is a Saudi reciter born in 1968 in the Oriental, Saudi Arabia.

Saad al Ghamidi studied in Dammam. As a student, Saad was very active. He often participated in summer journeys, Quran Memorization circles, associations. He graduated from the University of Shariîa with a Degree in Usool al Deen. In 1990, he memorized the whole Qur'an and was distinguished by his soulful voice as a qaari

Saad al Ghamidi has a ijaaza in al Isnad on the recitation of Hafs by Assem.

Saud bin Ibraheem al Shuraym is one of the most acclaimed reciters of the Holy Qur'an.

He was born in Saudi Arabia in 1966 (1386 H). he then graduated from the University of Imam Saud and then joined the High institute of Magistracy.Shuraim's teachers include the likes of Shaykh Abdulaziz bin Baz, Abdullah bin Jibreen, Abdallah bin Aqeel and others

In 1992, Saud al Shuraim was chosen to be Imam and khateeb of the Holy Masjid, Makkah. He was also appointed as a judge in the Saudi High Court.

Sa`ud ash-Shuraym

Mishary bin Rashid al-Afasy or Mishary Rashid Ghareeb Mohammed Rashed al-Efaasy

is a Kuwaiti born internationally renowned qari. He was born in Kuwait in September 5th, 1976 ( Sunday 11th of Ramadan 1396 H).

He studied Quran in the faculty of the Holy Quran and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah, specialising in the ten readings and translations of the Holy Quran. He has read the Quran to Shaykh Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Zaiat, Shaykh Ibrahim Ali Shahata Al-Samanodei, and the Shaukh Abdurarea Radwan. He impressed anumber of great scholars of Quran and has an ijaazah in all 10 styles of Quran recitations.

Mishary al Efaasy is the Imam of Masjid Al-Kabir (Grand Mosque) in Kuwait City, and every Ramadan he leads the Taraweh prayers in this Masjid.

 Abdur-Rahman as-Sudais

Al-Sudais has held the position of Imam and Khateeb of the Grand Mosque in Mecca over the past three decades, and this has afforded him a certain amount of fame and renown in the Islamic word.

Sheikh al-Sudais was born in Riyadh in 1962, and he seemed destined to become an Islamic cleric from an early age, having memorized the Quran before the age of 12. He later graduated from the Riyadh Scientific Institute in 1979, going on to obtain a degree in Islamic Sharia Law from the Faculty of Sharia in Riyadh in 1983. He obtained his Master’s degree from the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in 1987, and his Ph.D. in Islamic Sharia from Umm al-Qura University in 1995 while working there as an assistant professor. Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Sudais is known for his commanding voice and his inspiring recitation of the Quran. He was named the “Islamic Personality of the Year” for 2005 by the Dubai International Holy Quran Award.

Sheikh al-Sudais took up his imamate in 1984, at just 22-years of age, conducting his first sermon at the Grand Mosque in Mecca in July of that year. Even at this young age, Sheikh al-Sudais was able – through his sermons and recitations of the Quran – to energize and pierce the hearts of his listeners, and his fame grew throughout the country to the point that other sheikhs and imams began to copy his recitation style.

Abu Bakr al-Shatri

Abu Bakr al Shatri, S/O Abu Bakr Ibn Mohamed Al Shatri born in 1970 at Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) Sheikh Abu bakr Shatri is Saudi imam and Qur’an reciter.

Sheikh Abu Bakr Shatri is the one of the best reciter of the Holy Quran.Abu Bakr Shatri maintain his Position as one of the great recite of the holy Quran .Now abu bakr shatri also participated many Islamic conference and has received many awards.

Abu Bakr Al Shatri has get up his early education from Jeddah. He passed his graduation in (Holy Qur’an Studies) from Cheikh Aymane Rochdi Suwaid in 1416 Hijri and then he completed his master of accountancy after four years later.

Abu Bakr Al Shatri has performed prayers in many Saudi mosques like Al Rajihi, Said Ibn Jubair (Kandara), Abdullatif Jamil, Attakwa (Al Rawda), AChouiaibi (Assalama). He is currently the imam of Al -FURQANE Mosque in Hay Annassim, Jeddah.
